What is a concours detail?

Some of you might know this as the “Car Show Detail”. Wash the exterior, clean wheels tires and wheel wells. Dress the tires and wheel wells. Claybar/exfoliate the exterior and measure the paint clear coat thickness. Paint correction 4-7 steps with advance paint sealant applied. Clean mirrors and windows. Engine bay cleaned and or steamed. Interior steaming of all nooks and crannies, dash and cup holder. Deep cleaning of door panels and multi step cleaning of all glass and mirrors. Clean/wax and or seal door jambs. Deep clean carpets and apply carpet sealer. Deep clean leather and apply leather sealer. Final inspection. This is a multi-day process.
